To qualify professionals through the development of skills for carrying out activities in: management in organizations of the Educational administration sector (at central, regional or local level); school management; and the management of educational organizations, whether they are inserted in the formal educational system or not.

To provide advanced training to teachers and other educational professionals regarding the problem of integrating and using digital technologies in education and training, developing skill both related with intervention and development, and with a critical reflection on the use of digital technologies in education.

To qualify education professionals, namely those linked to the school system, who are interested in updating their knowledge and in developing skills that allow them to respond appropriately and efficiently with innovative practices to the new challenges they face.

To provide theoretical and methodological tools to develop internship projects, intervention projects and research projects within adult education, namely in the fields of community intervention, socio-cultural recreation, adult literacy, trainers training, recognition of prior learning and management, organization and funding of training.

To ensure that all candidates receive a solid training that allows them to substantiate the conception and development of a broad range of research works and studies in the field of Evaluation, articulating theoretical education with the practical accomplishment of projects and research studies in a diversity of applied areas. To deepen knowledge and to develop capacities in Mathematics Education (in all cycles of basic, secondary and higher education) to promote the improvement of trainees’ professional practice and of providing the development of skills to research and carry out intervention projects in Mathematics education. The course in offered in b-learning.

To develop and to deepen knowledge and capacities in the field of Science Education (Biology, Geology, Physics, Chemistry and Science in Basic Education), to improve the professional practice and the acquisition of competences regarding research in education and the accomplishment of projects.

To develop and deepen knowledge and competences in the field of Supervision and Mentoring for Professional Practice with the double purpose of promoting the improvement of trainees’ professional practice and the acquisition of competences in terms of research and project accomplishment.
