Update (April 7)
The Instituto de Educação of ULisboa extends until the end of the academic year the remote teaching and assessment work of all its undergraduate and graduate courses.
Following the measures adopted by ULisboa – see www.ulisboa.pt –, the Instituto de Educação (IE-ULisboa) will maintain measures implemented on March 9th, when all undergraduate and graduate courses (specializations, masters and PhD) continued exclusively through online and distance tools. Thus, IE-ULisboa will carry out all activities planned for the second semester, including assessment and evaluation processes, through distance tools. IE-ULisboa will finish the academic year 2019/2020 by the end of July, handling exceptions such as final master’s work. During the ongoing exceptional situation we live, all public exams (PhD and master students) will be carried out by videoconference.
Regarding other containment measures in force, please read the Contingency Plan.
At IE-ULisboa undergraduate and graduate courses teaching activities continue, using e-learning tools. All courses have adopted teaching and learning plans for the next 3 weeks.
As in-class activities are suspended at ULisboa (until March 27th), the Instituto de Educação (IE-ULisboa) proceed with all the undergraduate and graduate courses through online and distance tools.
Over the next few weeks, around 1000 IE’s students will be involved in teaching and learning activities, according to ‘alternative’ work plans prepared by teachers for each curricular unit, supervised by the coordinators of the courses.
Work plans are designed for a period of three weeks (to run until April 3rd) and include the activities to be carried out and their learning goals.
Activities will use functionalities of e-Learning tools (upload of resources, work proposals to be carried out by students, forums, submission of student works and tests) and communication tools to carry out synchronous classes along with students.
With regard to other academic activities, measures to contain the COVID-19 spread are in force at IE-ULisboa and FP-ULisboa in order to protect our academic community, namely: (a) all mobilities are canceled; (b) international events (conferences, seminars, etc.) with foreign participants and all national events with more than 30 participants are postponed.
These measures to be taken will be assessed and adjusted according to the evolution of the situation.
Regarding other measures the COVID-19 spread, we invite you to read the Contingency Plan.
