For future science and maths teachers: Join a unique intercultural experience preparing you for your future classroom!

A key competence covers knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed by each citizen to ensure personal fulfilment, a sustainable lifestyle, employability, social inclusion, and active citizenship. Core of STEM education at school traditionally is the delivery of fundamental subject knowledge like functions, human anatomy, and chemical reactions. Learners’ skills to apply gained knowledge and attitudes to set it in context with their life and societal decisionmaking processes have not been sufficiently nurtured likewise. So, in this summer school future STEM teachers will have the opportunity to increase their knowledge on fundamental STEM topics without neglecting skills and attitudes of their future students at school.

Participating students of the STEMKey summer school will have numerous opportunities for intercultural exchange, both within the international student group and outside when meeting local students, teachers, and pupils. This will enable them to gain rich experience connected to their own future profession.

Lectures will be held by an international team of renowned lecturers from 8 countries!
